Deeper and deeper, higher and higher, fueled by muses


Resumindo: a minha hipótese cosmológica para consumo pessoal, o meu entendimento do Universo, resume-se a duas ideias simples: Bright Star of Beauty e Will to Improve. Próximo do antigo culto do Sol e de Sanzuniao? Bastantes semelhanças, sim.

A minha Weltanschauung ("orientação cognitiva fundamental de um indivíduo ou de toda uma sociedade que abrange tanto sua filosofia natural quanto os seus valores fundamentais, existenciais e normativos") é esta. Estará em permanente evolução à medida que a ciência for trazendo ovos dados, claro, não é um dogma.

Como cheguei aqui? Ah, isso é privado, desculpem. Mas tive ajuda, de certa forma foi um trabalho de "equipa".



Um grande obrigado a todas as mulheres que me ajudaram a fazer nascer este "bébé".
Elas foram fonte de inspiração e de mudança ao longo da minha vida.

 

As mulheres que se cruzaram comigo ao longo da minha vida e que foram relevantes, fonte de inspiração e de mudança, voluntária ou involuntáriamente pois também elas são rios e curso do Destino, ficam aqui representadas por algumas modelos. 
A escolha foi aleatória.
Ou talvez não.
Quem segue este blogue sabe que acredito na certeza do acaso, the certainty of chance.
E, já agora, também na "certainty of change".







A partir de agora "my quest for knowledge" é sem "musas".
(do género "Look mom sem mãos, isto é, sem "musas"!")

No retreat, no surrender!


Conseguir ficar em 4º lugar no "ranking" de Janeiro da agência em que trabalho (sem nenhuma transfusão de sangue que não sou nenhum Armstrong), entre 20 consultores, com 3 transações de arrendamento num mês, dois apartamentos meus arrendados, um deles em 3 semanas, numa época de crise do imobiliário, não foi nada mau.

Até porque em menos de dois meses tive duas pessoas muito próximas, o meu irmão e a minha mãe, a morrerem-me nos braços, literalmente...

Avançar sem hesitações entre companheiros de viagem que vão caindo pelo caminho na luta contra a morte, arranjar força para trabalhar e ao mesmo tempo continuar a refletir e a interrogar-me sobre o Universo e o Sentido (ou falta dele) de Tudo Isto, não é tarefa fácil. E é tanto mais duro quanto mais consciência se tem do tamanho da treva e do aparente "Sem Sentido"...

Ah como tudo seria tão mais fácil se eu ainda acreditasse num ser imaginário, um pai todo-poderoso criador do Céu e da Terra ou se fosse superficialmente inconsciente, concentrado nas coisinhas do dia-a-dia.

De qualquer das formas, em verdade vos digo, meus amigos: comigo é "No retreat, no surrender!".

P.S.: Quem tiver apartamentos para arrendar ou vender já sabe que, comigo, se "arrisca" a conseguir colocá-los no mercado. Tal como quem procura casa para arrendar ou comprar poderá vir a encontrar o apartamento luminoso e acolhedor que deseja. Já quanto a respostas para "What the hell is going on in this Universe?!" bem, aí... i'm only human my friends... Não sou nenhum "Master of the Universe" ou coisa do género. Por isso só tenho hipóteses para vos oferecer, não conclusões. Pois, aqui não se "vendem" certezas nem dogmas, i'm sorry.

A minha weltanschauung "Will to Improve" e o "Kaizen" japonês




Descobri há poucos dias que há no Japão uma filosofia de vida e cultura empresarial que se baseia na contínua e interminável melhoria. É aplicada em muitas empresas japonesas, como a Toyota e a Canon, e é em grande parte responsável pelo sucesso dos japoneses depois da 2ª guerra mundial.
 
O Kaizen está em perfeita harmonia com a minha ideia de uma "Will to Improve" universal.
 



"Kaizen is a Japanese word for the philosophy or ideal of “Continuing and Never Ending Improvement”. The actual translation of “Kaizen” is as follows. “Kai (“change”) Zen” (“good”) is “improvement” and it has been made famous by the book “Kaizen: The Key to Japan’s Competitive Success” by Masaaki Imai. Kaizen is reflected in the Japanese “Total Quality Management” approach that helped Japan and their economy become a modern superpower."

 
"Kaizen in Japan is a system of improvement that includes both home and business life. Kaizen even includes social activities. It is a concept that is applied in every aspect of a person's life.

In business Kaizen encompasses many of the components of Japanese businesses that have been seen as a part of their success. Quality circles, automation, suggestion systems, just-in-time delivery, Kanban and 5S are all included within the Kaizen system of running a business.
Kaizen involves setting standards and then continually improving those standards. To support the higher standards Kaizen also involves providing the training, materials and supervision that is needed for employees to achieve the higher standards and maintain their ability to meet those standards on an on-going basis."

Western philosophy may be summarized as, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." The Kaizen philosophy is to "do it better, make it better, improve it even if it isn't broken, because if we don't, we can't compete with those who do."

Bright Star of Beauty and the Certainty of Chance


Da história do natal cristão só acredito na Estrela.
Quanto ao mais, acredito que há Certeza/"Vontade" no acaso.
Mas já que queremos comemorar algo, então comemoremos a nossa (dos seres vivos) "Boa Estrela" e a Certeza do Acaso.

Freud não explorou esta sua ideia do "Desire to be great" e coloca-a aqui ao mesmo nível da necessidade sexual ("sex urge").
 
Para mim, "The sex urge" não é uma força primordial, sendo isso sim uma das mais importantes manifestações da "Will to Improve" (que poderemos fazer equivaler aqui ao "Desire to be great" de Freud). No entanto e quanto a mim a "sex urge" poderá ser, ao invés, uma manifestação de Nyx, quando se revela (auto-)destrutiva.

Pessoas que demonstraram uma vontade inabalável no avanço da Civilização e do Conhecimento Humano.
Pessoas que estariam dispostas a dar a própria vida, ou a deram, para que a Humanidade evolua. Pessoas que lutaram contra o obscurantismo em qualquer das suas formas.

Malala Yousafzai, paquistanesa de 14 anos baleada por talibãs porque queria ir à escola e aprender, simboliza bem a nossa luta contra o obscurantismo religioso e merece sem dúvida abrir esta galeria.
 
"Malala Yousafzai, de 14 anos, é hoje um símbolo de coragem. Foi baleada porque foi à escola, desobedecendo às ordens talibãs. Depois de uma cirurgia de sucesso, esta quarta-feira, Malala luta agora pela vida, enquanto as ruas do Paquistão e as redes sociais do Mundo condenam o ataque. Draft de hipótese cosmológica ateia não metafísica


Que posso eu dizer-vos mais sobre a minha Weltanschauung, que vai ficando mais nítida, numa noite melancólica de chuva e sem vos fazer pensar que fumei coisas esquisitas?
 
Bem, já que não tendes nada para fazer, vou contar-vos de novo a história, de uma forma diferente.
 
Relembro-vos que não estamos a falar de entidades, estamos a falar de hipotéticas forças profundas, residentes no espaço vazio, que, segundo a minha hipótese cosmológica, fazem mover o Universo. Como cada um é livre de inventar o que quiser, vamos fazer de conta que estamos na Grécia Antiga e que eu era um "ganda maluco" que andava para lá de túnica e que decidia inventar uma cosmologia, sem ter diploma nenhum (com ou sem equivalências). Então seria assim:
 
Will to Improve ama e odeia Nyx, que é seu oposto impossível e tendência para o caos e a regressão. De cada vez que se aproximam, energizam-se. Precisam um do outro mas antagonizam-se mutuamente quando se aproximam.
 
E a Bright Star of Beauty? A Bright Star of Beauty é o Futuro, o Objectivo.
Will to Improve ama e evolui para ela, para esse Futuro. É ela a atração, é para esse Futuro que evoluimos.
 
É ela quem nos recorda a necessidade de Futuro quando temos a tentação de viver no e para o presente.

Sim, estou a dizer que há um Sentido na Vida: é Will to Improve to Bright Star of Beauty.
 
Claro que todos somos simultaneamente Will to Improve e Nyx, e sentimos - em maior ou menor grau - o chamamento da Bright Star of Beauty dentro de nós. Todos temos essas forças primordiais em conflito permanente.
